Okinawan Obon in 2023.

Okinawan Obon is a traditional festival in Okinawa, Japan.

That is from 28th August to 30th August in this year(2023). We check the
old calendar every year.

It’s a time when people welcome back their ancestors from the afterlife,
pray for their happiness and express our gratitude to our life has been
good and healthy.

People also perform a traditional dance called Eisa during this festival
each night.
